Latest news: To facilitate efforts to combat the spread of the coronavirus Covid-19, and to protect our delegates, speakers, exhibitors, visitors, and staff, we have decided to postpone ODR 2024, the Twentieth International Online Dispute Resolution Forum, originally scheduled to take place in Dublin, Ireland on May 6 – 7, 2024, to a date later in the year, yet to be decided. Details will follow in early course, and when we have our dates set we will be contacting all those already registered with a range of options for re-registration or refund. ODR 2024, the 20th International Online Dispute Resolution Forum, will be hosted by the UCD Sutherland School of Law at University College Dublin – Ireland’s longest established university law school, ranked among the top 50 law schools in the world in 2024. The International ODR Forum is the premier global gathering of the online dispute resolution community. The first International ODR Forum was held in Geneva in 2002 under the auspices of the UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), and subsequent forums have been held in Geneva, Melbourne, Cairo, Liverpool, Hong Kong, Victoria (Canada), Haifa (Israel), Liverpool, Prague, Buenos Aires, Chennai, Prague, Montreal, Paris, The Hague, Silicon Valley, New York City, Beijing, Auckland (New Zealand), and most recently Williamsburg, Virginia USA. The 20th Forum comes at a time of rapid growth in the use of online technologies for dispute resolution by courts, ADR bodies, businesses, and governments. The challenges for justice in the digital age have never been greater, nor have the opportunities.
